Step by Step

Step 1. You complete the survey

This gets the ball rolling. By sharing your personal information and preferences with us ahead of time, you’re providing what we need to organize events.

Step 2. We schedule an event

When we have enough participants in a given age range, we’ll schedule an event a few weeks out. After the date has been set, we announce the event and send out invitations to eligible participants. Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 3. The event Itself

The night of the event you’ll arrive at the scheduled time and get checked in at the registration table. You’ll be greeted by the event hosts who will explain the event process and answer questions before kicking things off. You’ll also be given a match card that you’ll use to indicate interest in anyone you’d like to get to know further. As the evening progresses, you’ll engage in a series of short conversations with eligible singles of the opposite gender. A typical event involves 10-15 conversations, with each one lasting 6 minutes. There’s a 30-second buffer in between each session to allow for wrapping up conversations and for the men to rotate to the next table in a timely manner. There’s also a 10-minute break at the midpoint of the event. Altogether, depending on the number of participants involved, the event runs for approximately 2 hours,

Step 4. The Results

After the event, everyone’s match cards are collected. Once we’ve tabulated everyone’s match preferences, we send each participant a personalized email with their results. Whenever mutual interest is indicated, we send both participants the other’s contact information and you take it from there. Results can vary from multiple matches to a single match, to none at all, depending on the individual responses of everyone involved.

Step 5. The Follow-Up

After everything has been squared away, you’ll be sent a follow-up survey to provide you with an opportunity to give us feedback on your experience.
